Bursary funds too often favour the well-connected, leaving deserving students from poorer households without support.
- Transparent, needs-based allocation across all five wards
- A public online tracker so families can see how funds are shared
- Priority support for students with disabilities and orphaned learners
Broken roads, blocked drainage, and neglected footpaths slow down businesses and flood homes every rainy season.
- Priority road and footpath rehabilitation in underserved areas
- Flood-prone drainage points fixed ahead of every rainy season
- Upgraded markets, bus stops, and community halls
Too many young people and women in Westlands have the skills and the drive, but no capital and no clear path to work.
- A Westlands Youth & Women Enterprise Fund for small business start-ups
- Partnerships with TVET colleges for practical, job-ready skills
- Local procurement priority so constituency contracts benefit local businesses
